Hi friends… I originally started this website to advertise to different churches for us to videotape programs for them that may not be able to afford, or just don’t have the equipment to do their own video, and offering a multi-camera shoot at no charge… But after constructing this website, I was surprised when my website went to (now way beyond this) 77 countries besides the United States and has had well over 60,000 views in the first year across social media… I am not sure what it is at right now because most of our interaction has been on Facebook. However, now I am limited to whatever video I can do here at the studios and am not able to venture out due to family circumstances. Even so, I can still put video on my website and social media and intend to do so in the future. I do like singing and playing old hymns on my keyboards and editing, engineering and producing music and video so I will be doing that from time to time. You can come and browse the videos, read my stories and view my pictures. I believe that Christ was saying that there is nothing more important than spreading the Gospel of our Lord to those who would hear it. My stories are short so they don’t take a long time to read, but what I write, I believe that God has laid on my heart. I also have to ask myself a question when I write and that is “if I could say just one thing to someone who lives on the other side of the world, and I had just one chance to talk to them for a few minutes and than never see them again, what would I say?”… I hope my posts and content help motivate you in your Christian walk, and if you are not a Christian I do hope you decide to make that step. Become part of the family of God… It is a life changing decision and also a lifetime journey. It will totally change your life around as it has mine. And if you are all alone, and we all feel alone at times, you will never be alone again. Christ promises to be with you always and He sticks closer than a brother. Read my stories and seek God, and you will never regret it for as long as you live… And thereafter…

Right now we are no longer doing video projects for churches in the Indianapolis, Indiana area, however we will be adding more content in the near future. I have had family responsibilities which have kept me from devoting time to WCFN but I will be able to proceed once again. We are Bible believing people who take the Bible literally and believe in the God and Jesus as found in the scriptures.

So onto “The Last Crusade. We started shooting the movie in Spain in a place called Almeria. This was where Sergio Leone shot his “Spaghetti Westerns, along with others. Indeed some nineteen years previously I had done one myself called “El Condor, which starred Jim Brown and Lee Van Cleef. We shot the tank chase sequence very near where we had built our fort El Condor all those years before. So the first morning, once all was in good shape, I left the crew to go and have a look at our old set and see how it had fared over the years. Almeria is desert type climate so the Fort had really done well. It looked pretty much as I remembered it, apart from a few alterations done by other companies who had used it since. After Spain we returned to London to do the studio interiors at Elstree Studios. On completion of the studio work we were to go to Venice and then onto Petra in Jordan for the exterior of the Grail Temple. Before we left for Venice I still had one location to be found, one that was the longest single shot in the whole movie. It was the end shot of our four principals riding into and being contained by a setting sun. This is easy over the ocean but very difficult to find on land. I had our location manager in Jordan asking and looking for such a place. I was reasonably certain that in a desert country like Jordan we would find it. The location manager told me there was a place where the sun rose in this fashion, but I said unfortunately we cant get the horses to gallop backwards. So we shot Venice and Petra without a resolution. I engaged a location scout in the US and after a comparatively short time “EUREKA! he found it in Amarillo Texas. I went to check it out and it worked, it was perfect. Shooting was over so we engaged a crew for a day plus horses and riding doubles for the actors. The plan was to fly out of LAX in a chartered DC9 in the morning, shoot some pick-ups and inserts we needed during the day. Allow plenty of time to set up with more than one camera for the sunset shot. Shoot the sunset shot and return to LAX that same evening. Guess what, it all worked like clockwork and it is the longest shot in the movie. Thank you Amarillo and thank you Texas.
